Wiki for dummies

First thing first. You want to learn how to create your own pages and articles. You have knowledge to share, things to show, stories to tell. You are one record or guitar collector (or both) and you want to show your collection. You want to write articles on subjects that interest you Follow the simple guidelines on how to do that. Learn from this lesson first, and learn from your own experiences later.

  • After you had a little bash in the Sandbox I suggest you go and do some (minor) edits in existing articles (left menu/random page).
  • It's not difficult to do that, just hit the edit button, write what you have to and click save page (lower left) To be on the safe side I always do a preview before editing.
  • Check the differences between the previous version and the version you just edited by clicking the history link. This will give you a better understanding on how this system works.


  • Next lesson will be about codes and help editing ect. Lesson 3 will be how to create a new page and link it to other pages.
